Deposits
Deposits must be paid before any sketch or design work begins. An initial deposit of a minimum of $100 covers the consultation and conceptual design stages. Additional deposits to a maximum of $500 go towards the cost of the tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits can be applied to future appointments and are transferrable, less the initial design fee.
Once I start a concept design, additional changes are negotiable.
Minimum charge tattoos include concept and design.

Cancellation
Appointments can be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance. Appointments changed less that 48 hours in advance are subject to a $180 missed appointment charge.

Rates
$180/hour (includes GST)
1 -hr. minimum charge ($180)
Billing for tattooing starts at setup and finishes at teardown.

General
I do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 under any circumstance
Do not come to your appointment intoxicated or hungover. We are both worth more than that.
By appointment only. I do not take walk-ins
I take my time to get the work right. Don’t ask for a rush job.
Tattoos on hands, necks, feet, ect may constitute additional charges.

Original Artwork
Highlander Tattoo retains copyright to all original artwork. Sketches can be purchased separately. Large sketches will be sent for approval in pieces to protect copyright.

Touchups
Touch-ups are provided free of charge for 1 year. Touch-ups are provided and scheduled at my discretion.
Color and longevity will vary based on skin type.

Illness and Emergencies
Highlander tattoo follows all public health guidelines.
If you are feeling any flu or cold like symptoms; or have recently been in close contact with someone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID please give as much advance notice as possible and due consideration will be given to rescheduling without penalty.
Let me know as soon as possible if you are feeling sick or have an emergency that stops you from attending your appointment. Allowances are made for emergencies at my discretion.

Submitting your request
Submit your ideas using the Book Appointment button below. Provide as much detail on your idea as possible including any images for reference.
Images should include 5 works you like and 3 works you don’t like. Clearly label your files and provide notes whenever possible.
Portraits of people or pets should be submitted in black and white to get the most accurate depth.
